The Best Music of All Time, In Playlist Form
Paid subscribers get access to the full collection.
I’ve been teasing new updates to this newsletter’s paid tier for a while now, which is why I’m so excited to share a revamped playlist wing of my content offering, available to both free and paid subscribers.
Bookmark this page and check back regularly. Any new updates will be published here.
Why playlists?
In short, because I love them to death and, based on my DMs, Notes interactions, and conversations in the comment sections of my articles, so do all of you, too.
If I’m honest, playlist creation is one of those hobbies that, for me, borders on obsession. I archive, revamp, and meticulously craft collections of tracks to suit various moods, social occasions, and, of course, artist and era ranking lists. It’s a messy, never-ending, and, ultimately, freeing part of my week-to-week
Now, after months of reorganizing in bits and pieces, I’ve turned that hobby (?) into a proper inventory I can share with readers.
The technical setup
For ease of access, everything lives on Spotify. I know that may not be a popular opinion for some, but it’s free to access and, more importantly, has fewer technical limitations than other platforms. That’s why I chose Spotify. No hoops to jump through for subscribers, which is what I care most about.
You can follow the new profile here. If you don’t use Spotify, don’t worry—there’s a simple playlist transfer process I’ll outline in a minute. Keep scrolling for that info.
First, let me outline the difference between the paid and free tiers:
What free subscribers get
Free subscribers will get the occasional playlist drop 1-2 times per quarter. For now, I’m spacing them out so I can deliver distinctive, high-quality collections. I’ve also recreated a few older playlists that will be familiar to subscribers who have been with me for a while, but are primed for rediscovery for anyone who’s recently joined this community.
I’m trying to strike a balance between the popular songs many of us know and the deep cuts that slot in perfectly alongside them. The vibes range from dance party starters to late-night mood mixes. As many corners of your brain as I can appeal to, I will.

What paid subscribers get
The mother lode.
If you want access to my full playlist suite, I encourage you to subscribe to my paid content tier. I offer both monthly and yearly options that work out to about the price of a large latte per month (in my city, anyway).
That’s all there is to it. A couple of clicks and instant access to all the playlists I’m offering on streaming. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading for a minute, this is a pretty good moment to do it.
If you want to stay as a free sub for now, all good. I sincerely appreciate your support. And you still get access to a starter pack of my favorite playlists.
So start listening, then decide if you want the whole thing. I think (and hope) you will.

Hate Spotify? Do this next.
It’s simple to transfer any of my playlists over to the streaming service of your choice. The tool I recommend to complete this process is TuneMyMusic. It’s easy and fast to use, and is far less glitchy than similar platforms in the same space.
Here’s a handy video walkthrough (not mine) if you need one.
And now, onwards to the playlists:
