My favourite of the decade is Tierra Whack - Whack World. I get that it's technically 15, but c'mon, how brilliant is it, and endlessly re-watchable. Also hard agree with your America, Formation, Bad Girls and Humble picks. Three more that I adore:
yvein monq - TWUN (the concept is quite simple, but hilarious)
Metronomy - The Bay (I vividly remember first seeing this music video play in a bar)
Oh, I wish I enjoyed it more than I did. Main complaint is the production, which works for 60 second sketches but not 3 minute pop songs. Sadly the tracks don't really take you anywhere and so the themes are muddy.

Thanks for sharing Anne! :)
What a selection. They brought back so many memories and I have a few more nuggets on my play list.
Thanks Jon!
That's a great list and I have to admit to having a certain love of "Gangnam Style" For as dumb as it is, it also unquestionably succeeds.
Right?? Great music videos don’t have to be (and often aren’t) high-brow art pieces.
This is America was incredible. So was Chandelier! I haven’t seen any of the others, so will have to go check them out.
Thanks for reading Kristin — enjoy those videos!

Hey Taro, thanks for reading and commenting — lots of terrific videos you cited. :) What did you think of Tierra’s most recent album?
Thanks for talking music videos!

I don't disagree with that. It was a criticism I had about her first album too, gimmicky aspects aside.
