Brilliantly done Matt! I still remember exactly where I was when I heard “You Oughta Know”. The music video started up when I was in my hotel room in Vegas and I remember dropping everything and staring at the screen, transfixed, thinking “what the fuck is THIS?!?” An absolutely brilliant album, although not my favorite of hers (Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie edges this one out for me).
My wife has purchased this album on CD alone at least 3 times over the years. It's her all-time favorite, and I have loved it myself since first hearing as a 7th-grader in the 90s. The more I grew to understand it fully, the better it got. #Classic
It's not all about what she is singing...it's the way she sings...not timid, apologetic, but blasting... "You Oughta Know" mister, lover, ya punk! You ougtha know my fury!
Every song on this album is my favorite! This album was so incredible, and is still in my rotation.
Thanks Kristin!
What an absolute classic

Thanks for your comment Mark. That record is also really good and worth checking out for those who haven’t heard it 👌

Couldn’t agree more!
It's gotta be You Oughta Know - love that song.

One of Canada's great gifts to the musical world.
Absolutely!
Huge fan of You Oughta Know and Hand in My Pocket. Saw the stage adaptation and it was pretty spectacular. The song performances blew the house down!
