I discuss my favorite chart-toppers from 1990 to 1999.
Completely ignored rock, including ballads.
Aerosmith's I wouldn't wanna miss a thing was a dominant song and better than a lot on this list.
Which other songs would you have put on the list?
Extreme: More than words
Mr. Big: next to be with you
But, I really enjoyed the ballads.
Shout out to the ballads 🤘
But the article concept is "a collection of 20 songs that left the greatest impression on [the author] as a music nerd."
If these are the 20 that left the greatest impression on the author, who cares that Aerosmith wrote a ballad?
At least Cher’s “Believe” wasn’t on the list. Way too much rap for my taste on this list and too many black artists that all sound alike. I think the 90’s is when I got into blues and jazz.
Jesus, Gina.
What? What did I say that invokes a Jesus remark? Just asking.
