As a person from a "moldy oldie" generation, I've never paid much attention to hip-hop music. This article is intriguing enough to make me take a look. I doubt I'll ever write or perform any myself, but I am realizing I can still appreciate good music of any genre, even those I previously considered not really music. I tend to pride myself on being tolerant in general and yet I occasionally run into an area where I haven't been. Always growing! Thanks for writing this!!
