I've been on a major Rush kick lately -- a new post to appear soon! Of course YYZ is the right choice as it's his drum solo song, though I gravitate to his work on Signals, when the influence of Stewart Copeland and reggae rhythms became more prominent (they are also strong on "Vital Signs.")

By the way, it's Neil, not Neal -- for the subheading....

Steve, get out of my head, I just listened to Signals again yesterday! Is it possible it’s now underrated in their catalog, despite the commercial success?

Haha! I think many fans didn't know how to take the increased keyboards and shorter songs when it first came out. But it's possibly my favorite. It's the one I play the most, and I think it showcases Geddy's voice better than any others. If YT links are working again (they haven't been lately), I'll share a video of a classical composer listening to Signals and being blown away. I watched it last weekend. Here's part 1.

Definitely a master of his instrument- and a very skilled lyricist, besides.

Yes! Terrific writer on top of everything else.
